IRH Updates and Advice from the Other Side

Inside Real Hauntings I apologise to all of my readers (not that there are too many of you lol) for all of the days gone by with nothing to show. It isn’t that I haven’t been dealing with the paranormal day in and day out, but I haven’t had the time to get things organised enough to get it all down…so I’m sorry for that.

In the coming months I have many projects I’ll be working on and I’m not sure how much time I will have to devote, but I do intend to keep up with not only my background from haunted houses to the animal ghosts of my youth (yes there are still more stories on that!) but also new experiences in general.

I also hope to begin a new tracker and series of post devoted to one of my most recent acquaintances in my paranormal experiences, known simply as Osh.

This is all a great deal more time consuming than it may seem and I have obligations in life which can quite frankly keep me occupied a great deal more than I would prefer them too! I will do my best to keep up with the fun. I hope to capture not only EVP from Osh, but also a photo, if that can be managed…we will have to see…he after all is not a human ghost.

So, please forgive me if I lag behind. I hope you will continue to read and have your own adventures. Know that I am still eager to share my experiences so that others can learn whatever they may from them and I thank you as always for taking the time to read.

______________________________________________________________________________________

As a quick note today, so as not to leave you with nothing, I have a simple bit of advice that came to me during my last real sit down session with a group of paranorms. This was in particular devoted to the idea of proof and you may just find it useful…not exactly satisfying…but food for thought anyway:

When asked why, over thousands of years of expermenting and research few or none at all have been able to prove the existance of certain paranormal phenomenon this is what I was told (a collective group answer)

There are forces in the universe that prevent you (living people) from obtaining too much information about the worlds surrounding your own. There are many reasons for this, but the one you may best understand is that with such a confirmation you may alter your entire way of living, not only as individuals, but as an entire race. The outcome of such changes is uncertain and in some cases has even been predicted to be seriously negative to the species as a whole. Therefore, while certain beings may make contact from time to time and isolated events may take place, the absolute confirmation of the paranormal world (speaking in general terms) to yours (living humans) is at this time an impossibility.

Keep in mind I am summarizing some very slow back and forth discussion, but the essence of the conversation is here. Personally I find this quite frustrating and keep in mind that it may not even hold true. For the time being, however, I have found it a useful idea to consider as it allows me to make peace with the idea that these discoveries are about the experience, not obtaining a goal. While it may not be an idea that is well liked, I do wonder how such knowledge might effect our species and what people might do with that kind of knowledge. Considering that we don’t always get on well with one another as it is, I do have to admit, I have reservations about how some might feel when it comes to any species, ghost, alien or any other type of unknown being coexisting within or all around where we live. One can never be certain, but I think it worth considering.

Goodbye for now, another end.
Until a time we meet again.

Paranormal Advice: Who You Seek With

Paranormal Advice on PeopleA while ago I mentioned in a post that…well let me just quote myself:

I have never met another person who has had this same experience, though admittedly I have steered clear of many people who claim to see dead spirits or other types of paranormal beings. Why, I have done this is entirely different subject, I promise we’ll get to that eventually.

In the beginning I did want to share my experiences with others, but it quickly became apparent that it was going to be difficult. As a child I found it almost impossible and as an adult even more so. Not only do most people not believe what they do not experience for themselves, but some avoid ever having to try to understand the possibilities simply because they find it either too frightening or too daunting an idea.

With so many paranormal investigations going on I would have thought that this time in my life would be the prime one to make connections, but I have found this to be difficult as well. Why? Well because more than half of the beings I encounter are not dead people. As anyone who is following my Fall Tracker can see, many of the ghosts I come across whether at a haunted house or other location, I can note down because they have patterns that they tend (not always) to follow. The others are not quite so easily tracked all of the time and I would say more than half cannot be tracked using even the top notch paranormal equipment of today’s world.

For these reasons I have been very careful who I allow myself to connect with, what kind of people I invite into the connections I make with paranormal beings. This is not only for my owl well being, but a request made of some of those who I regularly encounter. Yes, some paranormal beings don’t like certain living people, for all sorts of reasons.

I will tell you advice from an old friend of mine, known to you as Z, one who is not a ghost and not a living person (bare with these aren’t exact quotes,):

In one situation where I was speaking with my friend, two ghosts and a woman who hoped to make contact with her dead relative: This quest for connection is of no use as the woman (no names sorry) had little love for her relative when he was living and is only now interested in discovering useful information that will aid her monetarily. – This turned out to be true and became a horribly embarrassing and awkward situation.

In another situation I met a man who was brought to my attention through a mutual friend because we both had an interest in the paranormal. We planned a session together and almost right away he claimed to see spirits in the room. I saw, nor felt nothing, but was not skeptical at first. Within about a half hour Z was once again on the scene, along with a ghost (he frequently befriends them, I sometimes suspect on my behalf.)  There was a booming laugh (and some very R-rated EVP) and finally a broken glass, the man’s. When I asked why the beings in the room were so upset, the reply was that they had just arrived and to find this man speaking with nothing. We used a board that night and whenever the man touched it, LIAR was spelled out over and over. I spoke with Z about it later and he said: The man was neither a lunatic nor suffering from hallucinations, he was simply concocting what he himself could not genuinely see nor hear nor experience even in the slightest degree. This man’s pretense, fear and refusal to understand prevent others from making contact. This left me feeling very upset, how could I know who to trust? In time I grew to rely on those I know in the paranormal world to let me know when things were amiss, but I still greet new people with caution.

So there you have it. The two things that so often prevent me from befriending others who share my interest: Paranormal unknowns and people who are so eager to take part in these experiences that they will put on a show.

The advice, if any, that you my fellow para enthusiasts should take is simply to be aware and to be open. There is so much we don’t understand about the beings we speak with and this includes those of flesh a blood. Be careful.

Goodbye for now, another end.
Until a time we meet again.

Paranormal Advice: Don’t Anger Them!

Angry GhostsIt has come to my attention recently that many of the popular shows today promote using antagonism as a paranormal tool and I thought it worth noting that I have specifically asked a few ghosts about this way of getting a reaction: their response, none too pleased.

Going into haunted homes or other areas known as excellent locations to see spirits is a wonderful way to engage in some contact, but if you should happen to arrive and find that all is quiet there may be some very good reasons for this. Making the assumption that just because a place is haunted that there are ghosts who want to interact with you is just plain foolish. If a person showed up on your doorstep and incessantly rang your bell until they got a reaction would you pleased about this?

Spirits aren’t puppets, or dolls or any other play toy simply plopped down for the amusement of the living and not only is it rude, it can also be dangerous to provoke a being that in all honesty, we really don’t fully understand.

If a spirit is capable of picking up an object and moving it, what makes people think that they can’t use that same force to harm people? It honestly shocks me that so many people would be willing to chance angering something that might be capable of harm so great that physical damage could be the least of your concerns.

I spoke with one of my regular visitors about this recently, I asked him to watch one of these ghost shows and let me know what he thought of it. Afterward when we spoke he told me that he understood why the living continue to be so fascinated with death, after all we are all headed there eventually. What seemed to disturb him more than anything is the desperate tactics some are willing to use in order to get a reaction as simple as verbal response or flash of an image.

He went on to explain that while certain ghosts may very well be confused and trying to live out portions of their old lives, many are otherwise occupied and simply don’t interact with our side of things on a regular basis. Furthermore, he also explained that sometimes these encounters are complete accidents and the spirits really have no interest in communicating at all, but are actually looking to accomplish other goals that simply happened to cross paths with the world we know.

The truth is that these reasons are only the tip of the iceberg. In some cases the “haunting” people perceive aren’t even ghosts at all. Some are caused by living people, though the subjects are often unaware of their abilities. Other events are caused by supernatural beings, but these have had little or nothing to do with living humans at all.

The bottom line is that when people set out to make contact it is important that their only focus should not just be to do that at any cost. Now I’m not exactly campaigning here for “ghost rights” or anything like that, but I will say that those who cross that line may be unwise to do so. It has often struck me as funny that those who go out into the world to seek ghosts assume that once they have experienced an event at a haunted location they are free to return to their normal lives where they feel safe. I can confirm that once you have made something aware of your presence, finding you is not all that difficult for many of them and the safety of your home may present no more an obstacle than butter to a steak knife.

Fellow paranormal seekers, I urge you to consider this when looking to have your experiences, it may be the very key to eliminating some of the barriers so many find frustrating and allowing for a more advanced level of communication between living people and what lies beyond.

Goodbye for now, another end.
Until a time we meet again.

Paranormal Advice: Contacting Loved Ones

Ghosts of Loved OnesA friend of mine recently lost someone close to them and almost immediately requested that I help them to contact this person. I am not in the habit of trying to contact the dead spirits of those who have passed with any particular purpose, but I offered to help seeing how distraught he was.

I did this however with some reservation and I felt the need to explain to him why that was. To contact ghost relatives is an uncertain business, this I think he knew and was prepared for disappointment. What was more difficult to explain was that over the years I have gotten quite a lot of advice about this very thing from paranormal beings and their collective opinion is often that it is in general, a bad idea.

I will try to pass on what I have been told as I understand it.

Many of them understand the pain people feel when losing a loved one. It is terrible, perhaps the most terrible feeling in life. However, many of them do not seem to think it worth quite the amount of suffering people generally put into it. I have always supposed this is because from their point of view, it really isn’t so terrible. This may be easily understood as a general idea, but is perhaps not of much comfort for those who are suffering.

The warning I have received most often when it comes to contacting deceased loved ones is that anyone doing should be aware of two very important things: Deception and Change.

The first of these warning should be rather obvious when a person is of a rational sort of mind, but unfortunately when something in the room tells one that it is the very being of someone one has lost, one tends to become a little irrational. Many people will look for proof at this point. A secret only that person and the deceased loved one might have known.

Unfortunately this doesn’t always mean that the experience is real. Thoughts can often be used like paranormal props; whether by another being in the room pretending to be someone they are not, or even by the person hoping to see their loved one.

In recent years we have seen evidence that might even suggest people are capable of conjuring something like a ghost out of nothing, or at least seemingly nothing. Whether in these cases groups have conjured an actual being or simply drawn one in who adopted the details in order to make people believe this I cannot say. The point is however, such a detail may not be proof enough.

The second of the two warnings points to the idea that once dead people can change greatly, sometimes so much so that they might be unrecognizable in many ways. In cases such as this the personality, appearance, audible voice (of some kind) may in no way reflect the living person.

The point is that before a person tries to make contact with one whom they have lost they need to be prepared to walk away with uncertainty. If comfort is what is being sought, this may not prove to be the solution for some and may even make the situation worse. I personally have witness many different outcomes to this kind of event and my only hope is that those who seek it out do so with understanding.

Goodbye for now, another end.
Until a time we meet again.

Paranormal Advice: Patience in the Search

Patience in HauntingA long time ago, long before paranormal equipment was easy to find on the web, many people had to make do with their own methods of “proof.” Whether or not anything we have today, or had in the past, might actually be considered proof is for others to debate; however many of these tools can be useful, even if to make one feel as though they are not going insane.

Those that see ghosts often want to obtain something that they might show others so that the experience can be shared, or perhaps just relived later on without the too often creeping doubt that comes over time. I, like so many others felt the same way originally and it was during one particularly interesting session that I got a bit of advice from a being which I wouldn’t exactly classify as a ghost…but as to what precisely I cannot say.

The advice was fairly simple: Be Patient.

Whether they’re trying to gather energy to help supernatural events along, working through living people to heal, communicating with seers for online psychic readings, or manipulating objects in a room- it takes time. From everything we know it takes a great deal of energy and strength to accomplish the task we ask them to in order to obtain proof that something beyond just our own imaginations is taking place.

So the next time you’re trying to communicate and you ask for a sign, and sound, an image for your camera or a voice on your recorder…give them some time. In truth we have little idea what they go through just to perform these tricks and the last thing they need on top of it, is our impatience. I myself am blessed with a very patient nature, but at times I find myself frustrated by that ever present wall between our worlds. Learning to be patient with these events has allowed me to experience so many things I might have otherwise missed and for those of you still experimenting and exploring it may make all the difference in your experience.

Goodbye for now, another end.
Until a time we meet again.

Paranormal Advice: Body Maintenance and Healthy Living

Ghost Balancing LifeTrying to translate for those around me won’t be the easiest task in the world, but here goes anyway:

This week I would like to express my frustration with the growing obsession over health. Now, don’t misunderstand me, trying to lead a healthy life is a very beneficial thing for most people; however just as with any obsessive behavior, there is usually a consequence for allowing this to completely take over your human existence.

Leading a healthy life isn’t something most voices of the dead tend to focus on, so I make a point of trying to get this opinion from as many of them as I can. The opinions are mixed, but generally in the same direction. Some of the beings I come across actually laugh at the idea of trying to preserve a human body. You see they think us very frail and alive too short a time to truly be concerned.

Others that have actually lived and remember their human existence do understand the necessity to strive for healthy living, but most express that it is quality of life, not quantity that makes all of the difference. One particular paranormal experience in which I was able to ask questions pertaining to health lead to a truly funny experience where the being I was in contact with actually asked what it took, what kind of effort and time consumption, to lead this healthy life. I explained some of the things a person might do and in this instance the being laughed and laughed at me finally ending with the question: “You are aware of your own mortality are you not?” I told the being that of course I and most people are very aware. The point the being made was that it seemed wasteful to spend so much time on a futile effort. I explained that people often feel better in general when they live this kind of lifestyle, to which the being could only say: “Trading one thing for another no?”

After truly giving this some thought over the years I can only say that for me the only logical solution is to balance the good with the bad. Indulge now and then, but try to maintain that balance. This is even true for the ghost contact that I continue, sometimes it simply has to be put on hold while I attend to my everyday life.

So there it is, advice from those who have gone ahead of us on healthy living. Keep it balanced because no matter how hard you struggle against the defeat at the end, there is no way to escape it and as they see it, there really is no reason to fight so hard. What exists beyond isn’t something to run from, but another step. So every now and then, enjoy your life! Otherwise, really, what is the point?

Goodbye for now, another end.
Until a time we meet again.
