0001 – As today was my birthday I did notice several paranormal beings about, but have not yet had much time to devote as I have been rather busy celebrating. My “paranormal” birthday guests will actually be accounted for tomorrow, so for now we will just set the tracker at 0001.

Oct 7^th 6:15 a.m. – 0002, 0003 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual/ Some Audio – Loc: I pass by several larger pieces of property on my morning walk and on one is a rather large and picturesque pond. This place seems to attract a great deal of paranormal activity.  These two were not near each other, but clearly present at the same time. Neither one seemed to be aware/interested in my presence.

Oct. 7^th 9:02 a.m. – 0004 – Para Being Type: Ghost/Male – Presence: Audio/Physical Interaction with object – Loc: My home office where the desk lamp continued to be physically turned on/off. I spoke with the ghost and was impressed by his ability to turn the device on and off at my request. Continued to do this for sometime before moving into another room and eventually departing.

Oct. 7^th 9: 45 a.m. – 0005 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Physical Interaction with object – Loc: In my home office another ghost seemed to think the desk lamp game was fun. I had work to do so my time was limited with this one. I suspect he/she was present for the first round of on/off and wanted to play as well.

Oct. 7^th 11:00 a.m. – 0006 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio/Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Café where I met a friend for lunch. This location is usually attractive to the paranormal for some reason which still baffles me because food often seems to be of little consequence to most of them. This being knocked over a napkin dispenser before yelling at a server (no indication that the server heard this,) before heading into the kitchen.

Oct. 7^th 1:32 p.m. – More desk lamp activity back in the home office, but little interaction. Can’t confirm presence, will not add to tracker.

Oct. 7^th 4:00 p.m. – 0007 – Para Being Type: Ghost/Female Name Given: Rosa N. (Could not understand pronunciation of last name) – Presence: Audio/ Visual/ Strong Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Outside on my own back porch making a work related call, I saw her coming up the steps and sit down in one of the chairs, which visibly moved as she descended into it. I finished my call and we spoke for a while. This female ghost was trying to get to MI, but was finding travel difficult. She explained that it was very little like traveling as a living person, but that she needed to see her son before leaving this world/dimension. I asked her to return later in the evening when a regular para-friend of mine often visits who might be able to help her. Very friendly and warm.

Oct 7^th 8:24 p.m. – 0008 – Para Being Type: Unknown (Regular visitor/ friend) Name: Z – Presence: ALL – Loc: Front sitting room as usual. Visit was short this evening as Rosa did return, she and Z left as he was going to try to help her reach her destination and help her to understand her new non-living world. I admit I felt a little sad as I wished I could have understood more about what they might be doing and how it could be accomplished. I suppose one day I will!

Oct. 8^th 6:02 a.m. – 0009 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Outside for a moment first thing in the morning where I observed something I could not see opening and closing the screen door. Being was able to push on handle to release the door and would then slam it shut. After about 10 minutes this event ended.

Oct: 8^th 8-10 a.m. – 0010, 0011, 0012 – Para Being Type: 2 unknown and 1 ghost – Presence: Physical interaction with objects/audio/visual – Loc: Out and about running errands spotted the 2 unknowns downtown in front of an office building where one of them opened the front door before letting it slam, this greatly confused a person passing by at the time. I rolled down my window and could hear them speaking, language unknown. The ghost I heard while at the post office and was even able to inquire about it with one of the postal workers who said that the ghost was a regular visitor.

Oct. 8^th 12:15 a.m. – 0013, 0014, 0015 – Para Being Type: 2 Unknown and 1 animal ghost – Presence: Audio/ Physical interaction – Loc: The two unknown were discussing travel at some length in my car, more than half of what was spoken I could not interpret, but after entering the conversation myself they seemed to try to speak so that I could understand. I felt, in essence, that I was essentially giving them a ride, though I don’t think they physically needed one. It was rather amusing. The ghost animal was a bird that flew through my car at a stoplight. After coming though my closed window and landing on the dash, where I was able to reach out and get a quick pet (not quite the same as feathers, but close enough lol) the bird flew through the closed passenger side window and into the air. I saw a living cat observe this with intense curiosity.

Oct. 8^th 8:30 p.m. – 0016 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Audio – Loc: Stopped in to drop off a b-day gift to a friend and as soon as I shut my engine off felt something in the car. I did not have a great deal of time as I was sitting in this friend’s driveway (a friend that is not aware of my para interactions) and needed to head inside. I spoke briefly with this ghost, could not confirm male/female that was very sad indeed. I invited her/him to return with me later so that we might speak further, but presence was gone when I returned to my car and I have had no sense of them since. I did get EVP while in the car, though brief, but still cannot decipher sex or cause of the spirit’s unhappy state.

Oct. 9^th 5:35 a.m. – 0017 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Visual/Physical Interaction with objects – Loc: Heard a crash in my master bath and jumped out of bed to see what the cause might be, honestly expecting a very guilty looking cat, but instead saw a ghost fleeing the scene. All my shampoo and conditioner bottles were knocked down. I laughed and yelled after it but received no reply. (Honestly, if I could just teach one of them to make coffee I’d be set!)

Oct. 9^th 8:30 a.m. – 0018 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual – Loc: Coming back from my morning walk I spotted a being near one of the larger oaks that border the drive. The being was almost entirely outside, but NOT entirely, of the tree and fled immediately when I called out to it…into the tree. I will keep my eye out for that one as I do detest scaring things off.

Oct. 9^th 10:30 p.m. – 0019, 0020 – Para Being Type: Ghosts – Presence: Visual/Audio/ Intense Feeling – Loc: About an hour or so away from house I visited a “haunted house” with some friends. It was the type that feels more like a carnival than anything and it certainly had no real “haunts” that I was aware of. However, across the street from the building I did manage to observe two ghosts who were deep in conversation with one another and didn’t seem to be aware at all of any of the living people about.

Oct. 10^th 12:00 p.m. – 0021 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual – Loc: On my way back from a rather late morning walk I saw a being plunge through traffic, through a moving vehicle and scurry off into a patch of woods. It never ceased to dazzle the senses, even after all of these years.

Oct. 10^th 9:38 p.m. – 0022, 0023, 0024 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Strong feelings/Visual/Audio/EVP – Loc: Tonight you will be visited by three ghosts…(ha, ha I had to)…these three found me working on my back porch in the still not too chilly evening air. It appeared that they were a family, or had adopted the roles of mother, father and child. Whether this was true of their living selves I cannot say for certain. It was the “father” that I spoke with most. He seemed concerned about the presence of another being that they had crossed paths with and because I could communicate with him, wanted to know if I knew anything of this feared being. After a while we seemed to get to the bottom of it and I wished him and his family well. I recorded his description of this other being for my own records and was delighted to find that he came through almost entirely. The “father” said they would not be about much longer, that they were all waiting on another person who was close to death.

Oct. 11^th 8:50 a.m. – 0025, 0026 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Strong feeling/Audio – Loc: Passed two ghosts at different points during my walk. Nothing particularly eventful as neither seemed interested in communicating. Perhaps it was my fault, I left in a hurried attempt to get some fresh air in before work and set out before having my coffee and was a bit foggy headed.

Oct. 11^th 1:52 p.m. – 0027, 0028, 0029, 0030, 0031 – Para Being Type: 2 Ghosts 3 Unknown – Presence: All – Loc: What an afternoon! On antique hunts through old buildings and sales and finding more encounters than I seem to be able to keep track of. There were actually about ten separate instances, but I could only really narrow it down to five confirmed separate presences. To keep it brief, the first two were a ghost and another being who seemed charged with anger at the house of a deceased man. I don’t believe the man who had passed on was either of these two. The next few houses gave me a shout, a look and some interesting although somewhat confusing EVP (isn’t it always? lol) while the last house allowed me to see a being so clearly I almost began speaking to him in front of other living people! Though this last being looked like a person, I sensed that it was one of those others that really isn’t at all and then confirmed that it wasn’t just me getting the creeps when another shopper walked right through him. I found a few moments to speak with him when we were alone, but he spoke as if he were just another person looking for bargains and interesting items.

Oct. 11^th 4:33 p.m. – 0032 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Visual – Loc: Last house of the day I watched as a female ghost intently followed an antique ring that another customer had. Her face seemed almost resentful every time the person and consequently the ring moved.

Oct: 11^th 8:47 p.m. – 0033, 0034 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Visual/Audio/Heavy presence (sad and panicked) – Loc: I spotted two ghosts in the back field of my home. I had been feeling them for some time so I went out to confirm (always need to confirm you’re not nuts) and found them lingering in some of the wild brush that hasn’t been cleared yet. They were both girls who had been I would guess about nine or ten before they died. Only one of them spoke though both were visual. It seems they were in a car crash and died almost a month ago. They were ready to leave this place but one of the girl’s was desperate to get a message to her mother. I told her I could help with that and we worked it out. She seemed much less upset by the time they left.

Oct 12^th 12:22 a.m. – 0035 – Para Being Type: Unknown Friend – Presence: All – Loc: My friend Z showed up in the middle of the earlier crisis and lent a hand in communications. I was grateful for his help as always.

Oct. 12^th 8:45 a.m. – 0036 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Nearing the large pond I often pass during my normal route I began picking up static in my head phones. It grew louder and louder until I had no music at all and removed them. Then I heard speaking and watched as a stone first levitated and dropped several times. The words were mushy and unclear and after a few moments it passed.

Oct 12^th 2:30 p.m. – Helping a friend prep a house for show: felt a strong presence but could not confirm anything. No sounds or visual, just a general feelings. I will keep track of it and see if anything more occurs while setting up over the next couple of weeks.

Oct 12^th 6:00 pm. – 0037 – Para Being Type: Unconfirmed – Presence: Loud Audio/Visual – Loc: Out with friend for dinner after a hard day of work. After dinner on our way back to our cars I spotted a presence in the alley behind the restaurant. Once spotted the being screeched at not only me, but my friend as well. It was truly fascinating because I don’t think she saw it until it made the noise and it didn’t make noise until it became aware that I had noticed it. Unfortunately this event shook my friend up quite a bit and I had to hurry her out of there, giving her a ride home and staying for a bit to calm her down. Up far too late!

Oct 13^th 3:00 a.m. – 0038, 0039 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual/ Physical Interaction with objects – Loc: I had only been asleep for about an hour when I awoke to a loud crash in my kitchen. Once again I suspected a cat until I rounded the corner to see two being toying with some crockery I had set in the drain board. One of the pieces had broken. They did not speak, even after I did, but as I started cleaning up I did get a hand as one of them seemed to gather all of the pieces into the same spot on the floor. No dust pan skills unfortunately, no magic fingers to put the broken piece back together, but at least after that I was able to sleep the rest of the night without disturbance.

Oct 13^th 10:30 a.m. – 0040, 0041, 0042 – Para Being Type: 1 Ghost 2 Unknown – Presence: Visual/Audio – Loc: After almost no sleep I left for an early business lunch to find a ghost already in my car. His name was Walter and he rode with me to my meeting, he was very polite. Once at the meeting I noticed two beings speaking to one another on a mock balcony inside of the restaurant. They were very interesting looking, not at all human and I wished that I had more time to investigate, but I could not draw any attention to the situation as I was there on business. I had another appointment directly after so I could not linger, but I plan to head back there on my own and see if I can stir up anything more solid.

Oct 14^th 12:54 a.m. – 0043 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: All – Loc: Up far too late talking with Z about the fall and how much more with both seem to sense the presence of others. It is always interesting to hear about how other paranormal beings interact, it seems they share our confusions on certain things, I guess we all learn together?

Oct 14^th 8:30 p.m. – 0044 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual – Loc: Heading up my driveway (it’s a long one) after an evening stroll. Saw just a flash of something that had no head. Is this perhaps a joke from their side, being that a certain headless rider should be making his run soon? I’d like to think so, but did not see enough to confirm.

Oct 15^th 1:35 p.m. – 0045 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Audio/Visual/Strong Feeling – Loc: Out to lunch at a rather fancy establishment; while waiting for friends in the lounge I spotted a ghost who was mimicking the maitre d’ and being quite funny in the process.  Rarely dine at this place, however I will have to remember to get video, if it will take, on that one should I return.

Oct 15^th 11:45 p.m. – 0046, 0047 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: All – Loc: At home out of the cold tonight Z brought a friend. This new unknown we will call O and he is in need of some human acquainting.  Will be working with him for the time being as his knowledge of the living world is minimal.

Oct 16^th 7:55 a.m. – 0048 – Para Being Type: Believe Ghost – Presence: Audio/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: In the shower this morning the whistling ghost is back. Knocked down my towel again. The things we put up with I tell you!

Oct 16^th 10:25 a.m. – 0049, 0050, 0051 – Para Being Type: 2 Ghosts 1 Unknown – Presence: Physical Interaction with object/ Visual – Loc: On my morning walk I spotted two ghosts by that large pond I pass. Not certain if I have seen them before but it seems to be quite the spot for ghosts. Have inquired about doing more research but the owner is quite steadfast against it. Just before turning back on my own road home I encountered a dust cloud, small and low to the ground. When I tried to go around it, it laughed at me and tossed leaved in my direction. I yelled at it and in return heard laughter but it did zoom away and over a fence…very un dust cloud like…but I can’t confirm being responsible.

Oct 17^th 10:02 a.m. – 0052, 0053 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual/Strong Feeling – Loc: My work took me to an old school house today, (how perfect right?) where I found two beings in separate locations. One seemed to be trying to interact with a blackboard but was having no success. The other kept coming in and out of a vent in one of the classrooms I was picking out pieces in. I did try to make contact, but with no success.

Oct 17^th 5:23 p.m. – 0054, 0055 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Visual/Audio/ Physical Interaction with object/ Cold Spots – Loc: Working with a friend on a house for show and had two rather interesting incidences in the basement. One resulted in a tipped paint can that did not spill, should have all over, but didn’t, and then righted itself. The other was the opening and closing of windows all afternoon…seemingly by themselves, but we know better. Lots of noises and voices and three distinct cold spots. All in all hard to get work done, kept getting distracted. I believe one said her name was Gloria, nothing certain though.

Oct 18^th 7:20 a.m. – 0056 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Technical? – Loc: Woke today to find a message on my PC. It popped up right when I sat down, in a word document and was not written by me or any other living person who had access to my PC (yes I’m certain.) I have been trying for some time to make the computer a focal point for communication, but have so far had very limited success. Though this breakthrough was only mimicking something already on the PC I was very happy to see some progress. Perhaps eventually I can find a paranormal being who enjoys secretarial work? Yes, I thought not. Lol

Oct 19^th 3:00 p.m. – 0057 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Audio/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Stopped by one of the last small bookshops I know of today and encountered a friend of the store. For years now the place has been haunted, though by who or what no one seems to be able to determine. I was in the biographical section, but I seriously doubt that the being who was pushing and pulling at books while making odd little whispers was Lincoln (the book I was then browsing through.)

Oct 20^th 12:45 a.m. – 0058-0066 – Para Being Type: 7 Ghosts 1 Unknown – Presence: Visual/Strong Feeling/Audio (EVP) – Loc: With a friend who is very gifted in paranormal communication. Together we managed to get a group of 10 beings together, though two I will leave off for private purposes. The other eight we have invited to work with us over the coming months in a real effort to bring together some steady forms of communication. Should this begin to truly take shape I may start a new section where you can follow along with the progress. Will be leaving town for a while after this, sorry about the delay.

Lots of encounters in between these dates- sorry but I hadn’t the time to get notes so I cannot add them to the tracker.

Oct 24^th 6:32 p.m. – 0067 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio – Loc: So sorry about the long delay, out of town and then sick to boot! Freezing on my back porch trying to fight off the cold with a mug of cider, but simply can’t resist the fall sunset. Encounter with my newest regular, O, who I will be working with for the rest of the evening. More on that later!  UPDATE: Just got an interesting EVP from O…hopefully getting stronger ones soon.

Oct 25^th 8:36 a.m. – 0068, 0069 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio/Physical Interaction with object – Loc: My notes for this unfortunately got drowned in a spilled glass of juice, so I can only read part. However it was only a few days ago so I think I can tell it accurately enough. I was taking my walk in the morning as I often do when I was accosted by a swarm of falling leaves. This didn’t seem too abnormal at first because it is fall, after all…that was until I noticed there was no breeze. I stopped in my tracks, waiting to see if I could make anything of it, when I really looked at the way the leaves had fallen. There on the ground they had formed a sort of two dimensional, double silhouette of a man and a woman. When I moved to touch one of the leaves they all picked up off of the ground and swirl away, again in their own little breeze and I heard the mingled laughter of two (or so it seemed) beings; male and female. I laughed a little myself and moved on. Another day in the life as they say!

Oct 25^th 2:45 p.m. – 0070 – Para Being Type: Ghost – Presence: Visual/Audio/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Driving back from a late lunch with a friend I turned to find someone in the passenger side of my car. I had little time to truly be alarmed as the person sort of faded out towards the knee and had no feet to speak of…so not a LIVING person I believe I thought to myself. The figure said his name was Don and funny enough that he was hitching a ride; he even asked if I minded, which I explained I did not. He excused himself for appearing as such, but informed me that most people have no idea he is there so he hasn’t gotten in the habit of asking permission. We had a light and pleasant chat before he literally jumped out through the door. Before he left, he started my windshield wipers for me; it had just started to rain. I thought it very kind of him.

Oct 25^th 9:50 p.m. – 0071, 0072, 0073, 0074 – Para Being Type: 1 Unknown 3 Ghosts (Possibly 2^nd unknown, but could not confirm.) – Presence: Visual\ Physical Interaction with object (including me!) – Loc: In my sitting room getting a rather early visit from my regular friend Z who treated me to a rather bright visual display (photos do not come out well in any medium here, all blasted by light.) He informed that there were 3 others with him and we all spoke in turn. I suspected that O was also close by, but was having little luck in connecting. It was during this time trying to get O down on record that I felt something fall on my head. Not just the normal touch and play that feels like a breeze, but so often is not, this was much stronger as if a piece of clothing had fallen on me. This happened again and again, but alas still no voice on record…yet!

Oct 26^th 3:54 a.m. – 0075 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio/Physical – Loc: Far too early in the morning I woke to something bothering my leg, high up on my thigh. At first I thought I might be getting bit, more of an itch than pain, but when I looked I saw nothing there. As I yawned and searched I heard something yell in the air above me, right above me, and the itching, pin prick sensation returned. As I watched I saw a bruise form in the very spot. It got me up and out of bed, though I am uncertain as to why this was necessary. I did not encounter any beings in need of attention or help after this, so I found it a bit odd.

Oct 26^th 4:50ish p.m. – 0076 – Para Being Type: Believed Ghost – Presence: Physical Interaction with object / Audio – Loc: The reason for my early waking now at least might have a theory behind it. Because I was going on so little sleep I found myself lingering over details that I might not normally have while working at house today with a friend. We had several paintings to choose from to show as part of the display, but one in particular got me. It was a classic seaside cottage, with rolling waved and two children on the beach playing in the sand. As I took it in I noticed one of the children turn toward me. Yes I know, classic horror right? But it isn’t the first time so I didn’t get too startled. The child waved and said hello, though it was distant and difficult to hear. Luckily I had been recording just in case and caught the hello on EVP. My cell rang at that moment and after taking the call, all appeared back to normal. I kept an eye on the painting, but couldn’t be sure of anything else as I was simply becoming too tired to trust my judgment.

Oct 27^th 12:22 p.m. – 0077, 0078 – Para Being Type: 1 Ghost 1 Unknown – Presence: visual/Audio – Loc: Last of the gardening as it is simply too cold to do much else, certainly not enough for daily fun. While out this afternoon I was draining a fountain that can’t stay out in the winter when two being approached me from the field in back. The first was Glen who died over 100 years ago, so he said and told me that he once lived in my area of town, though naturally it had changed much over time. The other was not a ghost, but another unidentifiable being, who was fairly quiet but did manage a little speech. I noticed that when we were talking the sun came out and it got warm, this reversed when we said our farewells…coincidence?

Oct 31^st All Day – 0079, 0080, 0081 – Para Being Type: 1 Unknown 2 Ghosts – Presence: Visual (Pictures)/Audio – Loc: For Halloween me and a dear friend of mine hit the graveyard and historical circuit. We had some great luck with EVP and some wonderful pictures with blue orbs (and I mean BLUE) that came out absolutely brilliant. Later on we grouped up and had a pleasant evening chatting with friends, both living and not. Nothing too out of the ordinary for the holiday, but great fun.

Nov 1^st 9:45 a.m. – 0082, 0083 – Para Being Type: Ghosts – Presence: Visual/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: Morning constitutional reveals one ghost playing by…you guessed it, the pond. Wonderful watching the way some of them seem to be able to so easily manipulate water, I must remember to do more experimenting with that if I can find willing helpers. The other ghost came at me right out of a tree in an almost comical- Hollywood sort of way. It blasted me with icy air as it passed through me and I must say, I didn’t appreciate the cold lol.

Nov 1^st 5:12 p.m. – 0084 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: In my kitchen trying to whip up dinner for myself and friend I had a very playful being who insisted on flickering lights, turning on appliances and finally knocking down a bowl I had been mixing in. Spilled all over the floor, at which point I became a little angry and yelled. At this point all the lights came on, the radio came on, low and then everything returned to normal. I had an overwhelming sense that the being was sorry and I tried to let it know that on some level it was funny…just don’t toss the food! I ended up ordering a pizza and watched as the poor delivery guy was hassled both in and out of his car by something he couldn’t see. Is this my Halloween show slightly delayed? Who knows.

Nov 2^nd 10:30 p.m. – Nov 3^rd 3:00 a.m. – 0085, 0086, 0087 – Para Being Type: 2 Ghosts and 1 Unknown – Presence: Audio/Visual/Cold Spots/ Physical Interaction with object – Loc: My friend and I managed to get some wonderful EVP last night using magnets…we’ll explore that in another post perhaps…it was a night chalked full of sightings, sounds and far too many cold blasts, though fun…it’s just getting too chilly all the way around! An old friend of mine who gets to communicate seldom was in good form last night and it was good to be in contact with him as he finds it more and more straining to keep in touch with me in the living world.

Nov 3^rd 7:55 a.m. – 0088, 0089 – Para Being Type: Unknown – Presence: Audio/ Visual/ Nature Interactions – Loc: Just before I set out for an early walk I was stopped on my drive by two fascinating beings. I couldn’t quite call them ghosts, but they were very different from others I have encountered as well. It sounds a little odd, even to me, but it was like they were more a part of the natural surroundings than apart from it. Their way of speaking was also strange. Their ability to manipulate the air, temperature, surrounding flora…it was all pretty amazing. I asked them to return later as I had to get a move on and get my day started, I don’ think they will tonight…just a hunch, but I hope to come across them again.

Nov 3rd – 18th – 0090-0112 - Over the last few weeks I have had many encounters with paranormal beings, bringing the tracker to a total of 112 encounters over this period of tracking. The encounters have ranged from large groups invited to work with objects and other devices, to random occurrences in passing while running errands. The point of the tracker was to estimate how many I might be dealing with on a regular basis and to share that discovery with you, dear reader. At this time I feel as though the project has reached a close and will be ending the tracking period early. Thank you, to those of you who followed along, especially on Twitter where I find it most difficult to keep up. I apologize for ending this early, but when a thing is done it is simply that.

In the future I hope to do another project in which I keep track more specifically of one particular entity. Those of you who have been following along would know him as O or Osh and I believe that in the weeks to come he may be willing to work on this project with me. Please keep an eye out for the Osh Tracker, where we will learn about him and how he finds our world as a complete outsider. For those of you who followed along last time welcome back to a new season of tracking and for those who are new, you may want to take a few moments to read about what the purpose of the tracker is and how it came about in Tracking Begins.

The autumn months seem to stir up paranormal activity all over the world and my experiences are no exception.  Whether it’s simply following ghost activity or making good use of current paranormal equipment this time of year presents more results than any other.

Follow along as I post new ghost and other paranormal being sightings from now until Nov. 30^th and find out just how many times one might cross paths with the unknown if they’re looking out for it!

I will also be starting a discussion on facebook to open up a dialog for those who to share their own experiences or feelings about paranormal activity during this time of year. Come join the fun or perhaps even find out something new by joining the discussion!

July 22nd:

9:30 a.m.: Took a walk and saw 1 ghost in the park following a child.

12:00 p.m.: Having lunch, glass moving around table, 1 being present.

4:15 p.m.: Errands to run, passed 2 beings by the river. 1 in the water, 1 on shore. They seemed to be interacting.

10:30 p.m.: Helped a friend with a home project spotted 2 ghosts in the house next door.

July 23rd:

12:15 a.m.: Activity in the sitting room, not unusual. 3 separate presences detected and recorded, one of which appeared to be a ghost, other two unknown.

1:00 p.m.: Voices in the kitchen, opening and closing drawers. 1 presence.

11:30 p.m.: More activity in the sitting room, 1 presence tonight. (Ringing the bell on the left side table particular favorite past time of theirs.)

July 24th

2:45 a.m.: 3 different entities in the night last one at about this hour. My closet is a bit of a mess lol.

July 25th

9:00a.m.: 1 ghost in the kitchen again, playing with lights, also got voice recording on this one.

10:30 p.m.: A friendly visit from a regular in the living room. We spoke for sometime. 1 being.

July 26th

6:00 p.m.: Uneventful day until evening, out for a walk noticed 2 ghosts- man and dog walking together. (As a point of interest I saw no spectral leash, hehe.)

11:30 p.m. 2 Beings messing with a lamp in the living room. One of their favorites to play with for over 10 years now.

July 27th

3:00 p.m.: Busy with work at  a new house, felt at least 1 presence while working. Playing with hair and moved a few objects around, my but they make trying to stay organized fun!

5:30 p.m.: Additional presence felt, 1 ghost, very noisy. Recorded voices, but fairly certain just the two were about at this house.

10:45 p.m.: Visitor in the sitting room again, old friend 1 being. Just a few bell rings tonight.

July 28th

7:00 a.m.:  Woke up to shower running, tried to sneak in a little more sleep before heading back to work on house, turned shower off. Woke about 7:15 shower on again. Laughter from 1 presence who apparently is a water waster. Might have to find a way to secure shower knobs if this keeps up.

2:45 p.m.: Same presence on voice record felt at house. 1 Ghost. More recorded voices.

July 30th

11:30 p.m. : 2 beings in the sitting room, a regular friend and a guest.

Aug 1st

10:00 a.m.: Meeting at an office building, rumors of a resident ghost, felt presence on twelfth floor, may have been more than one, but for now count as 1 being. Coffee on that floor will not stay warm and heat will never get above 63 degrees. Interesting.

3:30 p.m.: Went for a walk today and spotted 1 ghost by the river, believe I have seen her before, but uncertain as to when or where.

Quiet for a few days, hints, but nothing outstanding.

August 8th

10: 45 p.m.: Sitting room again, thought there might be more than one, but can only confirm 1 ghost.

August 9th

12:oo p.m.: Visiting a retirement village, saw several beings, not only ghosts. Only 1 ghost outstanding that truly interacted with me.

9:15 p.m.: Being present during later dinner, had fun with my silverware. 1 being confirmed.

August 10th

11:30 p.m.: 2 Beings tonight in the sitting room, an old friend and a new curious one.

August 11th

2:00 a.m.: Woke to find what essentially seemed to be a pillow fight between 3 beings. Also having fun with ceiling fan and a nightlight in the corner. After saying hello…moved to a spare room to get some sleep.

5:00 p.m.: On walk spotted 1 ghost by the river. Find it interesting that they only seem to influence the water part of the time. This must go to intentional.

11:45 p.m.: In the sitting room again reading stayed up too late chatting with an old friend: 1 being.

This concludes this month’s Paranormal Tracker at 39!!

I apologize as the count really should be higher, but I had a family emergency that left me without time to do much interacting or posting. I will be starting a new count in the fall, when I found that activity seems to be at it’s peak.

Yesterday a close friend and I went out to lunch and while we were at one of our favorite little nook cafés (there are so few left,) we had a bit of an event happen and she, for the first time in her life, got to experience a real haunting.

Several items on our table (including the salt and pepper shakers…messy!) tipped over on their own, several napkins popped out of their dispenser and my iced tea boiled over (yes it was icy cold.)

A few other interesting things happened while we were there including the unlocking of my car as we approached it and the relocking once we were both inside, all without my doing anything (that I was aware of) to cause it of course. Most of these incidents were the type of thing you might ignore, unless all clustered together…then it becomes difficult not to at least allow for the possibility that something quite out of the ordinary is taking place.

I was able to confirm it for myself when I saw what I believe was the source of our paranormal experience standing near the kitchen inside of the café and again near my vehicle.

Now as my friend is aware, but had yet to be truly acquainted with that side of life, she was, needless to say, a little awed by the experience and a little frightened.

We drove back to my home where we continued to have interesting things happen. One being that the windshield wipers kept turning on and off, seemingly on their own and that a driver next to us had an obviously out of control horn. The driver shrugged and motioned toward the device in his car clearly trying to explain that he wasn’t honking. It stopped after about ten times or so.

Once home, I sat her down, by then she was quite upset and we discussed everything that had happened.

Naturally she had a lot of questions and I tried to answer all that I could, but I also told her that even after all this time I have no real answers, no concrete evidence, nor do I try much for it anymore. I showed her some photos and voice recordings and other such popular pieces of what passes today for evidence. I reminded her that even though these things currently go without explanation, it doesn’t mean that we may not find one in the future. I explained that so much of what I experience has to come from trusting my instincts and being reasonable.

By the end of the afternoon she had calmed down and I believe may very well now be hooked on the paranormal, I found her enthusiasm both charming and humorous. I often forget how exciting it would be to discover these things at a point in your life where you felt as though you had a firm grasp on what was real and what was not.

I chose to jump ahead of my earlier experiences in this post for two reasons:

One: Though my friend and I have been close for some time I realized that she never really understood or believed my stories about the paranormal or the ability to see ghosts. I suppose one can’t expect people to believe when they haven’t had a personal experience and even then it is very difficult to trust those of others. After all, we are trained to learn the difference between fantasy and reality at a very young age and if you believe the paranormal side of life to be fiction, it might be difficult to trust the opinions of others.

Deep down I think I always knew that she felt that way and we had never had any truly lengthy discussions about it prior to yesterday’s events. The realization however still took me by surprise and I know that there are others who feel as though they cannot discuss their own experiences with people, even those closest to them. I hope that they will find comfort in knowing that many others have the same problem and that they are not alone.

Two: One of the questions my friend asked struck me as funny, though it was perfectly logical. She asked how many times a week or month I have experiences like the ones we had just gone through. I honestly couldn’t say. It has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and at this point I feel comfortable enough that it seems normal to me.

Because of her question I will, over the next month, be keeping a paranormal count. I say that rather than ghost because I do not believe that all of my experiences include the ghosts of the living.

Each time I experience an event that I feel certain of I will post it here, though I will keep the descriptions short so that I may go into further detail in the future. I will also be keeping a count on Twitter, so that others can follow the progress easily and I welcome you to follow me (to follow me simply click on the button on this blog) if you would like to keep tabs on the count.

I think it will be very interesting to see what the total is, as I honestly haven’t paid attention in years. I look forward (and am a little nervous about) changing the way I look at these events for a month, but I believe it could turn out to be an informative and interesting experience.
